Ateammate by A-Team · Conversations between companies and engineers

Fuzzy needs become clear through conversation.

Chinese companies are going global and adopting AI, yet often can't say exactly who they need. Great engineers in Silicon Valley are looking for what's next. Ateammate lets both sides discover each other as equals — starting with one honest conversation.

What we're figuring outExport manufacturer · 300 people

20 years in export trade — what can AI actually do for us?

Inbound inquiries are long English emails and our sales team can't keep up. We hear AI could help, but don't know where to start or who to hire.

“My first take: the problem may not be replying to emails, but triaging inquiries. How do you currently decide which leads are worth pursuing?”

How it works

Four steps from fuzzy to clear.

  1. 1

    Post a card

Companies share what they're figuring out; engineers share what they're looking for. Rough is fine, and you can stay anonymous.

  2. 2

    Discover each other

Browse the other side. Reach out with a line about your first take — that line is your introduction.

  3. 3

    Have one conversation

Once accepted, meet for 30–45 minutes. We provide a conversation guide drawn from years of executive coaching.

  4. 4

    Each writes a note

Afterwards, both sides write down what they understood and whether to continue. When both say yes, the collaboration begins.

What we believe

Fuzzy is a starting point

Many of the needs that matter most can't be articulated at first. Conversation is how they get clear.

Equal, with different roles

Companies choose people, and people choose companies. Contact details are shared only after both agree.

Fewer, more thoughtful

Each card has a limited number of open conversations, so every one gets real attention.

Understand people, not just résumés

Years of coaching founders shape every prompt and every note template on the platform.
